Breakfast at the hotel.
We will begin the day by heading to the Department of Quindío.
Here we will visit the Cocora Valley, the home of the wax palm (the national tree of Colombia and the tallest palm species in the world).
Upon arrival, we will be greeted with a typical cocktail called “canelazo”.
Next, we will visit the cloud forest and we will be able to take some photos.
The tour continues with the Ritual de la Palma. We will have the opportunity to plant a wax palm for eternity.
Then we will go to the town of Salento, we will walk along the Calle Real and we will be able to appreciate its colonial architecture.
Lunch from a typical menu in the Valle de Cocora.
Later, we will hold a Latte Art workshop at Jesus Martin’s store. Transfer to the traditional town of Filandia to enjoy a city tour that includes a view of the colonial houses, Plaza de Bolívar and some coffee shops.
Dinner and lodging at HACIENDA BAMBUSA.
