We will go to the Plaza de Mercado de Paloquemao, one of the most important markets in the country.

Then we will visit the historic center of the city, La Candelaria.

Then we will go to Cerro de Monserrate, located to the east of the city.

Lunch will be held at the Casa Vieja Centro Restaurant.

The tour will continue with a visit to the Gold Museum.

Leaving Bogotá to the north, we will make a journey of 1 hour and a half to reach the mythical Guatavita lagoon.

Then we will visit the town of Guatavita and the Tominé lagoon.

Lunch at Andrés Carne de Res, considered the most original restaurant in Colombia for its eccentric decoration and good party atmosphere.

In the afternoon, the trip will continue to Zipaquirá.

After about 45 minutes we will arrive at the impressive Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, a true achievement of engineering.

Back to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to El Dorado airport to take the flight to La Macarena (State of Meta).

Once on land, our Xplora Colombia team will be waiting for us to attend the talk with the Cormacarena and National Parks environmental authorities.

Next, we will take a boat that will take us to the Mirador to be able to appreciate the immense plain from above.

We will continue to a quiet and perfect place to end the day: Cristalitos, a river that reminds us of Caño Cristales.

We will prepare to tour Caño Cristales.

We will cross the Guayabero River by boat, we will walk to get on the 4×4 trucks that will leave us at the permitted point and we will start our walk until we reach Caño Cristales.

Later, we will attend the cultural exhibition that the children and the great artists of the town present with great affection.

At night we will taste a typical dish of the region called la mamona” or “carne a la llanera”.

We will begin the day by heading to the Department of Quindío.

Here we will visit the Cocora Valley, the home of the wax palm (the national tree of Colombia and the tallest palm species in the world).

Upon arrival, we will be greeted with a typical cocktail called “canelazo”.

Next, we will visit the cloud forest and we will be able to take some photos.

The tour continues with the Ritual de la Palma. We will have the opportunity to plant a wax palm for eternity.

Then we will go to the town of Salento, we will walk along the Calle Real and we will be able to appreciate its colonial architecture.

Later, we will hold a Latte Art workshop at Jesus Martin’s store.
Transfer to the traditional town of Filandia to enjoy a city tour that includes a view of the colonial houses, Plaza de Bolívar and some coffee shops.

Transfer together with our guide to the Río Verde sector.

From here we will begin the “Puebliando” tour through the Cordillera in Jeep Willys (typical transport).

We will make a stop in Córdoba and then in Pijao, where we will have a coffee tasting at Café la Floresta.

We will end up in the smallest municipality in Colombia, Buenavista.

To do this, we will go to a typical restaurant for lunch.

In Buenavista we will find Hacienda San Alberto, a place where top quality coffee is produced.

Here we will enjoy tasting a cup of coffee that will awaken all our senses.

Transfer to Pereira airport to take the flight to Cartagena de Indias.

Upon arrival at the Rafael Núñez Airport in Cartagena de Indias, we will be received by our representative.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

We will enjoy the Cartagena sunset and a cocktail at the Café del Mar (in the Baluarte de Santo Domingo).

Dinner at the hotel or at a local restaurant.

We will visit the Popa Convent, located on the highest hill in the city and from where we will enjoy the best view of Cartagena.

Later, we will go to the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, the largest fortification built in a Spanish colony.

Lunch at the Montesacro restaurant.

Then we will take a walk through Las Bóvedas, considered the last colonial project carried out within the walled city for military use.

We will end the excursion with a visit to the Church of San Pedro de Claver.

Dinner at the Palo Santo restaurant.

The tour begins with a visit to “La Boquilla”, an old fishing village.

We will board a traditional canoe and navigate through the mangrove tunnels.

Afterwards we will enjoy a walking tour of the Getsemaní district, a neighborhood with Spanish colonial architecture.

At the end of the itinerary, we will be offered a non-alcoholic drink.

Then, lunch at La Cocina de Cartagena restaurant.

In the afternoon, walk through the historic center of the colonial city.

During the tour we will see old houses with their balconies full of exotic plants and we will pass through squares and squares.

The excursion will end with a visit to the Plaza de Santo Domingo, a place full of life and entertainment.

We will be able to participate in a tasting of Colombian rum and chocolates at the Arsenal, one of the most renowned hotels in Cartagena.

Then we will have a drink at the Café de Juan del Mar, located in the Baluarte de Santo Domingo (within the historic center).
Later, we will go to dinner at an emblematic restaurant in the city with views of the bay of Cartagena, the Fishing Club.
