At the indicated time, presentation at the Barcelona Airport to leave on a regular flight of the VUELING company to Copenhagen.

Arrival, luggage formalities and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, one hour regular boat ride through the canals of Copenhagen.

Rest of the afternoon free to stroll along the famous Nyhavn street and have a coffee on a terrace or do some shopping in the pedestrian street of Storgets.

Dinner in a restaurant in the city.

Night at HOTEL SKT ANNE or similar, in Copenhagen.

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take the AIR GREENLAND flight to Kangerlussuaq.

GL781 COPENHAGEN – KANGERLUSSUAQ 10.00 – 10.40

Arrival, luggage collection and installation at the hotel in the same airport.

Transfer to the cafeteria for a drink.

Kangerlussuaq, known as “The Gateway to Greenland,” is a settlement that was a US airbase until September 1992.

We will visit the base museum and walk through Kangerlussuaq.

Dinner at the Roklubben Restaurant, on the shores of Lake Fergusen located in a place as wild as it is beautiful.

Night in a hotel in Kangerlussuaq, in the air terminal of the airport.

Early in the morning, transfer to the Air Safari Greenland base for a low-altitude plane flight to observe wildlife and take a photographic safari over the polar cap.

Breakfast in the terminal cafeteria.

Route in a 4WD vehicle with which we will cross beautiful landscapes and border the glacier tongues that come out of the Greenland polar cap.

Visit the impressive Russell Glacier, 60 meters high at the edge of the ice cap of this large island.

Then, equipped with crampons and ice axes, we will start an easy hike on the Greenland ice cap.

For lunch we will have a picnic along the route.

I return at the end of the afternoon.

Night in a hotel in Kangerlussuaq.

At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take the AIR GREENLAND flight to Ilulissat.

GL580 KANGERLUSSUAQ – ILULISSAT 11.30 – 12.15

Arrival in Ilulissat, a city located at the mouth of an ice-filled fjord almost 60 km long.

Transfer to the BEST WESTERN PLUS ILULISSAT hotel.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, easy walk in Sermermiut, where the gigantic and beautiful icebergs are the protagonists of this ancient settlement.

During our tour we will reach the Kaellingekloften cliff and our guide will tell us about the life and traditions of the Inuit peoples.

Dinner at hotel’s restaurant.

Night at the HOTEL BEST WESTERN PLUS ILULISSAT.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Two-hour boat trip between icebergs in the Kangia Fjord.

During our tour it is possible to see whales.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of the city that will allow us to discover the history of Ilulissat.

Next, we will go to the local museum of Ilulissat.

Dinner at hotel’s restaurant.

Night at the HOTEL BEST WESTERN PLUS ILULISSAT.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Panoramic helicopter flight to fly over the Greenland polar cap and landing on the edge of it.

The air route continues over the front of the glacier, where the largest icebergs in the northern hemisphere are produced.

Then, we will return flying over the great fjord of Kangia and the icebergs that move towards the ocean.

Back to the city.

Lunch at a local Ilulissat restaurant.

Free afternoon depending on the weather or dedicated to other activities in the area.

We can take a light walk or take a walk through Ilulissat.

Dinner at hotel’s restaurant.

Night at the HOTEL BEST WESTERN PLUS ILULISSAT.

Breakfast at the hotel.

We will sail for 6 hours towards the Eqi Glacier.

Our ship will approach the ice shelf, where it is easy to see and hear the ice blocks breaking off.

Lunch on board in front of the glacier (depending on weather conditions).

After admiring and photographing this frozen wonder of nature, we will return to Ilulissat.

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, two hours of navigation in a semi-rigid boat or in a “targa” type boat to see the large icebergs and cetaceans up close.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon we will leave by boat for Oqaatsut, a small Inuit settlement with only 20 inhabitants.

Free time to walk around the town and learn a little more about the Inuit culture.

Dinner at the HB Explorer restaurant.

After dinner return by boat to Ilulissat.

Transfer to the airport to take the AIR GREENLAND flight to Copenhagen, via Kangerlussuag.
