United States, a trip along the east coast

During this tailor-made trip you will visit Boston, Washington and New York.

Begin your American adventure by spending a couple of days in the city of Boston (Massachusetts), one of the most beautiful in the United States. Here are some of the most prestigious universities in the world, such as Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

We suggest you explore the city following the Freedom Trail, an itinerary that will take you to see sixteen points of interest that tell the complete story of the American Revolution. Among these sites, you will be struck by the Boston Common, the oldest urban park in North America, in front of which you will see one of the most emblematic buildings in Boston, the Massachusetts State House.

Next, we recommend you take a plane to get to your next stop: the quiet and clean city of Washington. This is characterized by having many gardens, residences of low houses and wide spaces of land. It stands out for its numerous monuments dedicated to its presidents and war heroes, for having the great government buildings and for having important museums worldwide.

Northwest of downtown and on the banks of the Potomac River is Georgetown. It is a picturesque neighborhood where the headquarters of Georgetown University is located. You’ll love touring the National Mall, a green esplanade that stretches from the Capitol to the Washington Monument. During your walk, you will come across the National Air and Space Museum. On the opposite bank of the National Mall and just a twenty-minute walk from the Lincoln Memorial, you have the Arlington Cemetery, the most famous in Washington. Using the subway you will be able to get to know a very unique city in the state of Virginia, Alexandria.

Continue your vacation by driving to New York. Along the way, you will find three places where you will stop. The first is Madison County, a town located in the state of Iowa that has six covered bridges. The second stop is Dutch Country, the Amish community in Lancaster County (Pennsylvania) where you can spend the night. The next morning, drive to Philadelphia to learn about an important part of American history.

The highlight of this tailor-made trip is, without a doubt, the last leg: New York. There are endless locations waiting for you to see Manhattan from different points of view, many interesting neighborhoods and a lot of things to do, for example, go to Harlem for a Sunday morning gospel service, climb the Empire State Building at night or stroll through Chinatown and Little Italy.
